Service Interruption Policy Notice
How Black Chauffeur Limo Service handles weather, road closures, wildfire smoke, protests and other conditions that may delay or reroute a reservation.
Weather, road and safety conditions
Chauffeur service in Northern California may be affected by heavy rain, high winds on the Golden Gate and San Mateo bridges, flooding on Highway 17, wildfire smoke, protests, planned road closures or law enforcement activity. When any of these conditions materially threaten passenger safety, we will delay, reroute or reschedule the ride.
Communication during an interruption
The dispatch team will contact the primary passenger by phone and SMS as soon as an interruption is identified. If the ride is rescheduled, no cancellation fee applies. If a shorter or longer route is required, the fare is adjusted based on the actual distance and time.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, major public health orders, airport ground stops and civil emergencies. In those cases, the client may reschedule the ride at no penalty for up to ninety days.
