How pickups work at Signature Aviation SFO
For your international arrival, customs is processed inside the Signature FBO. We check in with the concierge on your customs slot and hold your vehicle without extra wait charges through processing — so you move from the aircraft, through customs and into your vehicle without a lobby wait.
For a domestic arrival, we track your aircraft on ADS-B and meet you at the ramp or in the lobby depending on what Signature clears for your tail number that day. Bags are handed off directly with your crew. On your departure, your chauffeur is at Signature about forty-five minutes before wheels-up, and we hold the vehicle on-site until your aircraft is airborne.
SFO's north field has its own drive-in and is separate from the commercial terminals. When you book, tell us Signature SFO — not the domestic or international terminal curb — so your chauffeur is routed to the correct side of the airport.
The north field sits above the commercial terminals with its own approach off South Airport Boulevard in South San Francisco. From the FBO you're typically at a downtown San Francisco or SoMa address in 20-30 minutes off-peak, on Sand Hill Road or in Palo Alto in 25-35 minutes, and in Napa or Sonoma in about 90 minutes depending on Golden Gate Bridge traffic. Share your destination when you book and we'll plan the route in advance so your chauffeur isn't chasing an address after you clear the aircraft.
Vehicle assignment is set against your passengers and bags. A Lincoln Aviator for one to three of you with normal luggage. A Chevrolet Suburban LT for a family or a small team of up to six. A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for a full jet-load, oversized luggage or a party continuing on to Wine Country with cases. For your international arrival we confirm the vehicle before wheels-down so the one staged inside customs is the right one — not a swap that adds a wait.
SFO Signature is also a common departure FBO for private aviation continuing to Asia or Europe. Your chauffeur is at Signature about forty-five minutes before your crew's wheels-up, bags go to the crew inside the FBO, and we hold the vehicle on-site until wheels-up is confirmed — a detail that matters more on a long-haul international departure than on a domestic hop.

Child car seats on request
Rear-facing infant seats, forward-facing convertible seats and booster seats can be installed before pickup when requested in advance. Please share your child’s age, height and weight at booking. Parents or guardians should confirm that the selected seat and installation meet their child’s requirements. Accommodation of multiple seats depends on the vehicle, passenger count, luggage and seat availability at the time of reservation.
Airport meet-and-greet policy
San Jose Mineta International (SJC)
Complimentary meet-and-greet chauffeur service is included at SJC. Curbside pickup is permitted at Terminal A and Terminal B, and your chauffeur can also greet you inside baggage claim on request. No additional fee.
San Francisco International (SFO)
Meet-and-greet is available on request at SFO for a $45 add-on. Your chauffeur waits with a personalized signboard at the arrivals level of your terminal (International A/G or domestic 1, 2 or 3) and assists with luggage to the vehicle at the designated limo pickup area.
Oakland International (OAK)
Meet-and-greet is available on request at OAK for a $45 add-on. Your chauffeur meets you inside Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 baggage claim with a signboard and escorts you to the vehicle. Please request meet-and-greet when booking so we can dispatch early and clear parking.
To add meet-and-greet at SFO or OAK, note “Meet-and-greet requested” in the booking form or reply to your confirmation email. SJC meet-and-greet is automatically included at no charge.

- Yes. SFO north-field to Wine Country is a common private-aviation itinerary. We route it as a direct transfer or as hourly service if you have stops along the way.
- How long is the drive from Signature SFO to downtown San Francisco or Sand Hill Road?
- Downtown San Francisco and SoMa are typically 20-30 minutes off-peak; Sand Hill Road and Palo Alto are usually 25-35 minutes. We plan the route based on your wheels-down window.
- Do you stage the vehicle for a long-haul international departure?
- Yes. Your chauffeur is at Signature about forty-five minutes before your wheels-up, bags go to your crew inside the FBO, and we hold the vehicle on-site until wheels-up is confirmed — that matters on a transpacific or transatlantic departure in case of a taxi return.
