How Occasion Bookings Are Planned
Planning guidance
Occasion pages describe how transportation is planned around the reason for the event — the wedding-day timeline, the prom-night rules, the client-dinner staging, the convention-week manifest. Each occasion links to the underlying services (hourly, group, corporate, wedding, special-event) that dispatch uses to build the reservation, and to the vehicle in the fleet that fits the passenger count and luggage load.
Most occasion bookings are hourly because the reason to book a chauffeur for an occasion is precisely that the vehicle should not leave between the parts of the evening. Point-to-point is the exception for occasions where only the arrival matters and the return is not part of the reservation — a one-way transfer to a wedding weekend hotel, for example.
Every occasion category has a preferred pre-planning window: six to nine months in advance for peak wedding dates, three months for university family weekends, three to six weeks for corporate offsites, one to two weeks for standard business-dinner reservations. Late bookings are honored when capacity exists but should not be assumed on peak dates.

Child car seats on request
Rear-facing infant seats, forward-facing convertible seats and booster seats can be installed before pickup when requested in advance. Please share your child’s age, height and weight at booking. Parents or guardians should confirm that the selected seat and installation meet their child’s requirements. Accommodation of multiple seats depends on the vehicle, passenger count, luggage and seat availability at the time of reservation.
Airport meet-and-greet policy
San Jose Mineta International (SJC)
Complimentary meet-and-greet chauffeur service is included at SJC. Curbside pickup is permitted at Terminal A and Terminal B, and your chauffeur can also greet you inside baggage claim on request. No additional fee.
San Francisco International (SFO)
Meet-and-greet is available on request at SFO for a $45 add-on. Your chauffeur waits with a personalized signboard at the arrivals level of your terminal (International A/G or domestic 1, 2 or 3) and assists with luggage to the vehicle at the designated limo pickup area.
Oakland International (OAK)
Meet-and-greet is available on request at OAK for a $45 add-on. Your chauffeur meets you inside Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 baggage claim with a signboard and escorts you to the vehicle. Please request meet-and-greet when booking so we can dispatch early and clear parking.
To add meet-and-greet at SFO or OAK, note “Meet-and-greet requested” in the booking form or reply to your confirmation email. SJC meet-and-greet is automatically included at no charge.

- Do you provide car seats for family occasions?
- Yes. Rear-facing infant, forward-facing toddler and booster seats are provided free of charge on request when you make the reservation.
- How far in advance should occasions be booked?
- Weddings, proms and multi-vehicle group runs should be reserved two to six weeks ahead; corporate meetings and airport occasions are typically fine with 24 to 72 hours' notice.
