Is point-to-point cheaper than hourly?
For a single A-to-B ride, yes. Point-to-point is a flat rate. Hourly service is a better fit any time the chauffeur must wait between stops or the itinerary is likely to change.

Point-to-point service is the simplest booking we offer — one pickup, one drop-off, one flat rate confirmed at reservation. Ideal for hotel-to-office runs, cross-Bay dinner reservations, wine-country day trips and vendor visits where an hourly hold is unnecessary.
Point-to-point pricing is a flat fare confirmed in writing before the ride. There is no meter, no surge and no route detour — the quoted rate covers the pickup, the driving time, and one authorized brief stop along the way. Additional stops or waiting time push the reservation into hourly billing, which dispatch will flag before confirming.
Point-to-point is the right fit for hotel-to-office runs, cross-Bay dinner reservations, one-way wine-country transfers and vendor visits with a fixed return time. For any itinerary where the schedule may change, or the chauffeur may need to wait between stops, hourly service is the honest recommendation.
Longer point-to-point transfers — San Francisco to Monterey, Silicon Valley to Napa, Peninsula to Sacramento — are quoted with fuel and route-specific factors baked in. The flat rate remains fixed once confirmed even if traffic doubles the drive time.

Can I add a quick stop along the way?
One brief authorized stop is included. Multi-stop days should be booked hourly so the chauffeur stays with you across the itinerary.
What counts as an authorized stop on a point-to-point ride?
One brief stop of a few minutes on the way — a pharmacy pickup, a document drop, a bathroom break. Longer stops (dinner, meetings, shopping) move the reservation into hourly billing so the chauffeur is properly compensated for the wait.
