How long is a typical wine-country day?
Most Napa or Sonoma days run 8–10 hours door to door from the Bay Area, booked hourly with a five-hour minimum. Three or four vineyards plus lunch is the most common itinerary.

Wine-country days are booked hourly with a five-hour minimum and a written tasting itinerary. We coordinate with vineyard concierges on your behalf, handle valet at each estate and stage the vehicle so no one in your party drives after the first pour.
A Napa or Sonoma wine-country day is booked hourly with a five-hour minimum and a written tasting itinerary. Dispatch coordinates with the vineyard concierge on the guest's behalf so tasting slots line up with the driving plan, which is what keeps three or four estates plus a lunch reservation inside a manageable eight-to-ten-hour door-to-door day.
The chauffeur stays with the vehicle at every estate, handles the valet and holds cold water in the console for the drive between tastings. Guests do not drive after the first pour — the entire point of chauffeur-booked wine-country transportation — and the return leg to San Francisco, the Peninsula or SFO is scheduled before the day starts rather than negotiated at the last vineyard.
For group tastings the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter carries eleven to fourteen guests plus a case or two of wine purchased on the day. For one or two couples the Chevrolet Suburban LT is quieter and easier to park at boutique estates. Lunch at The French Laundry, Bouchon, Auberge du Soleil or Bottega is coordinated in advance because same-day tables at those restaurants are effectively unavailable.

Can you book the tasting appointments?
We coordinate directly with vineyard concierges to align tasting times to the driving itinerary. Payment for tastings is handled by the guest with the estate.
Can we start the wine-country day from SFO or SJC directly?
Yes. Many guests fly in the morning of the tasting day and start straight from SFO or SJC. The chauffeur meets the flight, luggage is stowed and the first tasting is timed to the flight's arrival plus drive time to the estate.
